This is a beginner course (P1+2). After this you can sign up for the intermediate course (P3, 7 days). After P3, you are a certified solo pilot. You can buy your own gear and fly.
But it still takes experience to understand the sport and fly completely independently. We recommend flying under the guidance of an instructor till at least 10 hrs of flying experience.
Usually it is low risk for beginners. Risks come when you start flying advanced techniques like thermalling/cross country etc.
But you have to be very good in following instructions when you're up in the sky. A bad landing is rare, but can happen if you mess up. It could lead to injuries like a fracture if you're very off.
Having said that, most students do it without any issue. But eventually, it is an adventure sport and comes with its own risks
The best way to reach is by taking a flight to Dharamshala. We will pick you up from the airport.
In case you can't find a feasible flight to Dharamshala, then you can fly to Chandigarh/ Delhi and take an overnight Volvo bus directly to Bir.
Try to reach on Day 1 by noon. Your classes will start on 3pm on Day 1.
