Dhruv Panjuani is a film maker based in Mumbai. He first went skiing with his dad to Gulmarg as a teenager. For Dhruv, skiing is an annual holiday to look forward to every winter.

AP: When did you first learn about skiing? What got you interested in the sport?
Dhruv: My father.
AP: How did you start off? Your first experience.
Dhruv: My father and his friends planned a ski trip and I joined them to learn the sport.
AP: Who do you usually go skiing with?
Dhruv: I usually go with my friends or my father.
AP: What changed in your life after you got into it?
Dhruv: I learnt a new sport which gave me another reason to enjoy the winter.
AP: What are some of your favourite moments while playing the sport?
Dhruv: The feeling of going down the slope again and again and again
AP: Any good stories to share?
Dhruv: Being the last one to come down the slope at the end of the day got everyone worried sick but the feeling was surreal (especially cause it was during the evening magic hour).
AP: Till when do you see yourself play the sport?
Dhruv: As long as I physically can.
AP: What would be some advice you’d give someone who’s just starting out?
Dhruv: It's more fun than scary!
